Valued customer in the mining industry approached us asking for a solution for safe work in mining tunnels. This solution should ensure adequate presence of oxygen and elimination of combustible or toxic gases. STOP technicians after visiting the site and listing all requirements proceeded to the study of all aspects. At the same time we contacted manufacturers abroad exchanging technical information and finding the best practices in similar applications.
The solution was provided by an explosion-proof (ATEX) blower, featuring fan and blower operation safe-guarding against any possibility of allowing an explosive environment to be created by leak or contamination through the rock face.
The system was introduced with a thorough explanation & demonstration on location to the customer, the end users and technicians as well as personnel from other mining companies to ensure complete operational knowledge of the new equipment.
